About me

Photographer specialising in Newborn, Baby, Children and Family photography, based in Poole, Dorset

Four years ago I became a mother to the most beautiful little boy, and he was the reason Jess Evans Photography was born. I have always loved photography; I studied the art at college, and my aim was to go to University to further my knowledge. But when life got in the way, and Zachary came along, my ever growing love became my absolute passion. I loved capturing him at his tiniest, and almost 3 years later he is a typical Photographers child; as soon as the camera comes out, he knows the score! I have spent a long time perfecting my skills, gaining more knowledge about photography and editing in general, and now I want to capture memories for you and your family to cherish. I feel like a picture can speak a thousand words, and they really do last a lifetime.

I have had extensive training, in not only photography, but safety and posing. This is SO important to me. I am qualified in Newborn Safety & Posing, and this of course extends into my sessions with babies and toddlers too, so your precious little ones are very much safe in my hands.

I can’t wait to hear from you, and invite you into my studio, where memories are not only displayed as a photograph, but made to remember for years to come. No matter what the occasion, I would love to capture it.

Jess X
